- Send one acknowledgment of what was learned, honor data and contact limits, and schedule nothing further without a new invitation.
- Accessibility
- Let the mentee choose communication mode, pacing, breaks, remote access, captioning, and whether demonstration replaces explanation.
- Sustainability
- Use existing tools and a nearby or remote session rather than buying novelty technology to symbolize generational exchange.
- Timing
- Schedule around the mentee's workload and provide preparation time without making the gift another deadline.
